Finally here, safe and sound

Baby Boy Brightside made his appearance Thursday, December 6, at 3:00p sharp by planned c-section. He is cute as a button and couldn't be more perfect, and I just love his little face more than I thought possible.

He is sleeping lots and feeding like a champ, and we should be heading home from the hospital tomorrow. My brain is mush (yay narcotics!) so will report more later. But I just had to break the news to let you all share in my huge sigh of relief. Little guy thanks you for keeping his mama sane.

    Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!! He is perfect and adorable and I'm so happy for you! Our boys are only 2 days apart. :) I look forward to hearing more details whenever you are able! And I wish you the best in your recovery from the c-section. It's actually been SO much better than I thought it would be. The hardest part for me is getting out of bed at night to feed him, but otherwise I feel great. It helps, of course, to have the best distraction EVER to keep your mind off of your own healing. Congratulations again, dear friend! He's just so cute!
