Hubs and I just returned from Ireland. Was such a great trip - I really let myself let go and not worry about a thing. Stayed out til 3a every night with his cousins drinking Guinness and eating fried food, and never thought twice about it. F-it, I needed a break.
But now we are back, and I go in for another endometrial biopsy tomorrow. Nothing says Welcome Home like getting a chunk taken out of your uterus...for the 4th time.
I have much to update from our last appointment with Dr. B and the latest round of tests. (And maybe a few pics from our trip.)
But for now my thoughts are with some fellow bloggies who have gotten bad news this week, if you could please send some prayers their way...
- to Misfit Mrs, who lost pregnancy #7 this week after 2 good ultrasounds and just starting to get her hopes up.
- to Starfish Kitty Dreams, who fears she may be losing pregnancy #5 after a worrisome ultrasound today.
- to Valentina, who is showing some scary signs of preeclampsia and fears she may be delivering her twins too soon at 32 weeks.
I hope the trip was a wonderful respite from daily life. I'm looking forward to more Ireland details and some pictures! Also to your update on the consult with Dr. B.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like the trip was just what you needed. Ahhh, a fresh Guinness direct from Ireland sounds absolutely heavenly...I'm glad you took full advantage!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you had fun! Keep us updated on the tests, k?

I am so glad to see you are back after such a great trip! There's nothing like just getting away sometimes.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the very kind shout out, too. Everyone's support has been amazing and has really made a difference in helping my cope with the big, scary unknown of this all.
Glad to see you back <3
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that your trip was a good escape! Endo biopsy are NO FUN! I hope this will be your last time.
ReplyDeleteI have been meaning to send you a thank you for the prayers and well wishes...thank you! I still cannot believe these baby girls are here and am so thankful they are doing well. I am very happy you had a great trip, drank some nice beers and ate lots of fried food - you do deserve it! I am still hope, hope, hoping for some good news to come your way on this front (because you deserve that, too)...
ReplyDeleteStill thinking of you. I owe you email. Want to round up on what the game plan is. Also a huge belated thank you for lending support. It means a lot to know you are here, too.
